High efficiency red phosphorescence organic light emitting diodes by utilizing modified Al cathode |
초록 |
We report highly efficient solution processed red phosphorescent organic light emitting diodes (PhOLEDs) utilizing (Et-Cvz-PhQ)2Ir(acac) and (EO-Cvz-PhQ)2Ir(acac) into TCTA: PVK (amount of TCTA 20%) matrix that contains the electron transport material of OXD-7. Also, we introduced an ultrathin layer of poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO) as a buffering interface between the emitting layer and the Al cathode. The electroluminescence (EL) spectra show the characteristic spectrum of (Et-Cvz-PhQ)2Ir(acac) and (EO-Cvz-PhQ)2Ir(acac) with its maximum at 625 nm and CIE (Commission International de l’Eclairage) coordinate of (0.66, 0.33). The red emissive PhOLEDs based on ITO/PEDOT:PSS/TCTA:PVK:OXD-7:Ir complex/PEO/LiF/Al cathode exhibit a maximum external quantum efficiency of 4.72 % with corresponding luminance efficiency of 4.62 cd/A, respectively. |
