제목 Molecular Cavities and Receptors Based on 3D-Nano-Architectures of Metal Oxides
초록 The surface sol-gel process take advantage of surface hydorxyl groups for adsorption of metal alkoxides. Application of the surface sol-gel process to mixtures of organic compounds and titanium alkoxide provides ultrathin layers of titania gel, in which molecule-sized cavities are kept intact upon removal of the organic templates. The surface sol-gel process gives rise to oxide gel films of nano-size thickness, and is capable of incorporating various organic molecules by sequential chemisorption and activation. The imprinted cavity reflects the structural and functional features of the template molecule, and the enantioselective imprinting of peptide isomers is observed. Robustness and flexibility of the ultrathin titania layer is demonstrated by the formation of interconnected titania hollow structures.
