제목 Anchoring of Cyclodextrins on TiO2 Gel Nano-coated Natural Cellulose Fibers for forming Host-Guest Complex
초록 Cyclodextrins (CyDs) are a family of naturally occurring, water-soluble oligosaccharides forming a buck-shaped macrocycle. The most common CyDs consist of six to eight D-glucopyranoside units, linked by a 1,4-glucosidic bond, and are known to form host-guest inclusion complexes with organic species in solution and in gas phase. Recently, we have reported a novel receptor design by combination of CyD hosts and TiO2 ultrathin layers in order to achieve high sensitivity and selective detection for aromatic compounds. In this study, we attempt to uniformly coat individual nanofibers of cellulosic substance with metal oxide gel layers and anchoring of CyDs units in order to capture aromatic compounds.
