제목 Thermal Conductivity of Poly(dimethylsiloxane)Using Well Dispersed Silica-Coated MWNTsas a Filler with Ceramic Powder
초록 Silicone rubber, has found various applications in automotive, aerospace, coating, medical areas. And PDMS has strong interaction with silica surface from hydrogen bonding. Recently the use of silicone as thermal interface materials is growing up where the silicone filled with ceramic fillers effectively dissipates heat generated from electronic components. Therefore the management of heat condition is directly related to the lifetime of electronic devices. Our previous work, thermal conductivity enhancement was observed when the silica coated MWNTs and MWNTs filled PDMS master batch was incorporated. In this work, we incorporated the silica coated MWNTs as a master batch with the PDMS for enhanced dispersion. And also, this master batch was incorporated in silicone rubber with Al2O3. Then the mechanical and thermal enhancement was characterized.
