EFFECT OF SURFACTANT ON METHANE HYDRATE FORMATION |
| 초록 |
An experimental study was conducted on the effect of the addition of surfactants on methane gas hydrate formation kinetics. The effects of the carbon chain length of alkyl group(C8,C10,and C12) and concentration were investigated. In case of C8 and C10 surfactant, maximum promotion effect was found at 50ppm. For a given concentration, the surfactant with the shortest chain length (C8) showed the highest formation rate and storage capacity. |
