제목 All-Polymer Phototransistors: from Basic Concept and to Applications
초록 Phototransistors are defined as a photosensitive transistor with both light sensing (detection) and signal control (amplification) functions in a single device structure composed of triode electrode geometry. Recently, organic phototransistors have been spotlighted because of their potentials for flexible image detectors in the coming flexible electronics era. To date, most organic phototransistors have been fabricated with single type (either p-type or n-type) organic sensing layers that are based on either semiconducting small molecules or polymers. In order to fully exploit the advantages of organic semiconductors, we have introduced organic phototransistors with all-polymer bulk heterojunction (BHJ) sensing layers that benefit ultrasensitivity even for single photons as well as huge freedom of sensing wavelength ranges. Here we present a brief history of our works on all-polymer phototransistors and will propose future directions.
