In this research, a synthesis of Pt nanoparticles/reduced graphene oxide composites (Pt/rGO) for energy devices was investigated by in-situ γ-ray irradiation-induced reduction method. The colloidal suspension of the GO in IPA/water solution containing certain amounts of Pt precursors was irradiated by γ-ray irradiation at various absorbed doses to simultaneously reduce GO and Pt precursor. On the basis of various analytical results, the Pt/rGO was successfully synthesized by γ-ray irradiation. Moreover, the Pt/rGO showed a highly enhanced conductivity and superior electro-catalytic property for its use as a counter electrode for the energy devices. |
