제목 Application of an injectable hydrogel made of CMC/Pullulan for Use as an anti-adhesion barrier
초록 There are many types of anti-adhesion methods such as pharmaceutical adhesion prevention, adhesion prevention barrier. Hydrogel barriers for anti-adhesion have many advantages such as biodegradability, non-toxicity, non-preform, flexibility, high permeability of oxygen and nutrients. We developed the in situ injectable crosslinked-hydrogel fabricated by modified carboxymethyl cellulose(CMC) with tyramine and subsequent enzyme reaction using horseradish peroxidase and H2O2. Pullulan was incorporated into hydrogel solution for improving adhesive strength and accelerating biodegradation. The modified CMC with tyramine was confirmed by ATR-FTIR. The biodegradation behavior was observed by weigh loss and SEM images. In vivo animal test, post-operative tissue adhesion was dramatically decreased by applying in situ injectable hydrogel. From these results, it is concluded that the injectable hydrogel made of modified CMC and pullulan has great potential for use as an anti-adhesion barrier.
