제목 Preparation of Chemically Stable amPS-yn /SPS-az Membrane by Layer-by-Layer Assembly Technique via Click Reaction
초록 Proton exchange membrane (PEM) is the key component in a fuel cell system. PEM is required to have high proton conductivity, low permeability to fuel, good chemical/thermal stability, and good mechanical properties. In this research, we synthesize a cationic polymer (amPS-yn) having alkyne functional group, and an anionic polymer (SPS-az) having azide functional group. These two polymers were possible to be assembled through layer by layer approach, and at the same time, possible to give covalent bonding via click reaction. The combination of click chemistry and LbL self assembly offer both excellent physicochemical properties and stability to film that the film can be applied under broad temperature and pH ranges for fuel cell operating conditions.
