| 초록 |
Since its invention about 100 years ago, plastic materials have been doing the very important role in our life and will also be expected to continue but somewhat different role compared to those that are used today. Biodegradability of plastics is an interesting property for single-use applications for everyday lives and consequently for our planet Earth. In recent years, global market of biodegradable plastics have expanded rapidly more than 20% of compound annual growth rate and is predicted to occupy more than 40% of global plastic market in next decade. Early this year, there was a China’s plastic trash import ban, which causes the huge impact globally, while giving the wake-up call to the plastic recycling industry and leaving the tremendous amount of plastic trash worldwide. It also start to have a ripple effect to the recycling industry and biodegradable plastic industry. |
