Humidity sensor using the composite film of carbon nanotube/polyelectrolyte self-assembled particles |

Carbon nanotubes(CNTs)/polyelectrolyte self-assembled polystyrene (PS) particles were synthesized to prepare CNT/polymer composite films having improved dispersity of CNTs in polymer matrix. The amount of CNTs on PS particles was controlled by a layer-by-layer (LbL) assembly method. CNT/polymer composite films were formed by hot pressing CNT/polyelectrolyte self-assembled particles. Then, the impedance of CNT/polymer composite films in the range of 0.1Hz-10MHz was measured with changing the range of the relative humidity at a fixed temperature. Results showed that the CNT/polymer composite film using CNT/polyelectrolyte self-assembled particles could be used as humidity sensor. |
