In this work, we prepared activated carbon (AC) treated by various ozone treatment times. The NiO was introduced to ozone-treated AC using electroless Ni plaing and oxidative method with a fixed amount. The NiO-doped activated carbon was characterized by XRD, SEM and N2 adsorption/desorption at 77K. The CO2 adsorption behaviors were observed in carbon dioxide adsorptions at 298K and 30 atm. It was found that the specific surface area was slightly decreased after the ozone treatment. Nevertheless, the total amount of NiO was increased with increasing of the ozone treatment times, as well as for improving the CO2 adsorption of the activated carbon. |
