| 제목 | Improvement of Yellowish Color Change of Novolac Phenol / Aryl phosphate / ABS Compounds |
| 초록 | A number of studies has been carried out to improve flame retardancy of ABS resin using phosphous containing flame retardants. One of the problems arising from employing ABS/aryl phosphate/novolac phenol combination is yellowish color change with time endurance. In this study, we prepared the analogues of novolac phenol by acetylation to solve yellowish color change problem. The synthesized materials were characterized using FT-IR and H-NMR. Also, to know changes of flame retardancy, ABS/aryl phosphate/analogues of novolac phenol compounds were prepared and the flame retardancy was evaluated by measuring the Limiting Oxygen Index (LOI) values. Color changes were evaluated using weather-o-meter by measuring ΔE. |
