Cell-Producing Nanovesicles, Exosomes as Mediators of Tissue Regeneration and Therapeutics Delivery |
초록 |
Exosomes are small membrane vesicles (40-120 nm in diameter) secreted in a variety of mammalian cells following the fusion of multivesicular bodies with the plasma membrane during endosome maturation. Exosomes derived from cells contain proteins and nucleic acids that reflect their original cell characteristics, and transfer different cellular information to neighboring cells or even to quite distant tissues. Exosomes seem to play an critical role in many tissue regeneration process as well as disease process. Here we discuss exosomes as both mediators of intercellular information transfer for tissue regeneration and carriers for biomolecules. We introduce our recent research effort on the above themes. Specific topics of this presentation are i) extracellular vesicles secreted during human myoblast differentiation regulate myotube formation of human adipose-derived stem cells; ii) tissue engineering and therapeutics delivery using exosomes derived from human adipose stem cells. |
