UV curable pressure sensitive adhesives (PSAs) were made by blending the various amount of di-functional acrylate with synthesized acrylic based copolymers. The copolymers were based on 2-ethylhexyl acrylate (2-EHA) and 2-hydroxyethyl acrlayte (2-HEA). The adhesion performance of PSA was examined by peel strength, gel content, and storage modulus (G’). As the copolymer’s molecular weight increased, the peel strength of PSA was increased. Also, it was observed that the peel strength increased with decrease of storage modulus and gel contents. |
