Highly conductive and transparent poly (3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) prepared by solution polymerization |
초록 |
There has been increasing interest on various properties and application of conducting polymer. Poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) is one of the most conducting polymer as it exhibits very high conductivity. In the present study, we report a method to prepare PEDOT solution which can be early processed into desired shapes. PEDOT with high electrical conductivity and transparent was prepared by solution polymerization by chemical oxidation. In the solution polymerization, monomer solution was prepared by dissolving EDOT and poly (vinyl-pyrrolidone) (PVP) as a binder in 1-butanol and the oxidant solution was prepared by dissolving ferric p-toluene sulfonate (FTS) in 1-butanol. Both monomer and oxidant solution were mixed and the mixed solution was heated at required temperature until the polymerization was completed. PEDOT thin film spin coated from solution showed high electrical conductivity of 1050 Scm-1 and low surface resistance at high transmittance (360 Ω/□ and 91% (550nm)) |
