Polycarbonate which is synthesized from bisphenol A is commonly used because it has high impact-resistance, high thermal stability, and high transparency. Isosorbide is an eco-friendly, rigid bicyclic diol which can be substituted for bisphenol A. In this research, Isosorbide-bisphenol A copolycarbonate and its derivatives obtained by replacing bisphenol A with other monomers were synthesized. Copolycarbonates which were synthesized in this research were characterized and comparative research of their physical properties was carried out. |
