Raman spectroscopic measurement on Purified Boron nitride nanotube |
초록 |
Boron nitride nanotube (BNNT) would be a candidate material replacing carbon nanotube (CNT) in the field of heat dissipating device or composites needing high temperature processing. It is because BNNT is semiconducting and shows greater thermal stability even though BNNT is structurally similar to CNT. Like CNT, synthesized BNNT also needs to be purified for the applications. In this study, purified BNNT is identified in each purification step by the Raman analysis in terms of blue or red shift and full width at half maximum of characteristic peaks. Its morphology measured by scanning electron and transmission electron microscopy will be compared to the spectroscopic analysis. |
