Since the advent of lab-on-a-chip (LOC) technology, the microfluidic-based miniature system is rapidly expanding its application scopes due to the benefits such as small sample consumption, high-throughput synthesis/screening, and precise control and fast analysis time. In this talk, I will present general aspects of microfluidic technology including microfabrication, soft lithography and microvalve as well as its applications for microfluidic based nano-scale chemical synthesis and biomolecular analysis. |
