Fully-inorganic cesiumlead halide (CsPbX3 = Cl, Br, I) perovskite colloidal quantum dots(PQDs) have been attractedconsiderable attention in various optoelectronic applications, including solarcell, light-emitting diode, laser, and photodetector becauseof their unique and excellent optical and optoelectronic features revealing inbulk lead-halide perovskites as well as originating from the quantum-sizeeffects. In addition, these have been receiving great attention as a roomtemperature-processed photo-active material in both solar cells andlight-emitting devices because of their outstanding energy harvesting andlight-emitting properties. Herein, we will demonstrate that the CsPbX3-PQDscan be employed as a photovoltaic absorber in the solar cells with anelectroluminescent property. In addition, we will introduce a method for fabricatingthe conductive and thick CsPbX3-PQD solids and explain the potentialof these PQD solids which can be used as an emitting material. |
