제목 Highly efficient indoloacridine type host materials for blue phosphorescent organic light-emitting diodes
초록 We have designed and synthesized an indoroacridine derivative, 8-(8-(9H-carbazol-9-yl)dibenzo[b,d]furan-2-yl)-8-phenyl-8H-indolo[3,2,1]acridine(AcHCz) and 8-(8-(9H-pyrido[2,3-b]indol-9-yl)dibenzo[b,d]furan-2-yl)-8-phenyl-8H-indolo[3,2,1-de]acridine(AcHCb), as the host materials for blue organic light-emitting diodes. The indoloacridine derivatives possessed sp3 carbon linkage and high triplet energy moieties for high triplet energy and high thermal stability. Host materials, AcHCz and AcHCb, showed a high triplet energy of 2.91 eV, 2.86 eV and high glass transition temperature of 174 ℃, 177℃, respectively. The host materials were doped with iridium(III) bis[(4,6-difluorophenyl)pyridinato-N,C2]picolinate (FIrpic) blue dopant and a maximum external quantum efficiency of 23.8 and 20.8 % in blue phosphorescent organic light-emitting diodes was reported.
