Effect of Silver Nanoparticles on the Performance of P3HT:PCBM/TiOx Organic Solar Cells |

The effect of the organically-modified silver nanoparticles on the performance of P3HT;PCBM/TiOx organic solar cells was precisely investigated. The organically-modified silver compounds were synthesized in aqueous media and introduced in the P3HT:PCBM/TiOx bulk heterojunction solar cells. These silver compounds in various solution concentrations were deposited on the top of TiOx optical spacer layer by spin coating. In the parallel experiments, the mixed colloidal solutions of the TiOx precursor and the silver compound were prepared and deposited on the top of the P3HT:PCBM active layer to investigate the effect of the location and localized surface plasmon resonance of the silver compound on the effeciency of the P3HT:PCBM/TiOx organic solar cells. |
