제목 | A study on the effect of photodeposition with iron ions on the photodegradation of DDT |
초록 | The photodegradation with TiO2 as a photocatalyst is regarded as a promising method for the transformation of toxic and bioresistant compounds into harmless species. The degradation rate of DDT by means of the TiO2/UV system was investigated by considering the effect of the photodeposition with iron ions on the removal rate of DDT. TiO2, used in this study was prepared by a modified sol-gel method and immobilized on the outside surface of a pyrex tube by a dip-coating method. Comparison study in a batch-type reactor was also done with a commercial one, P-25. The DDT and by-product concentrations were analyzed by gas chromatography, and gas chromatography-mass spectrometer. |
