제목 Radiation effect on a PVA/chitosan nanofibrous film
초록 Because electrospinning is one of the few techniques to prepare long fibers of nano- to micrometer diameter, great progress has been made in recent years. Electrospinning method was used to fabricate a poly(vinyl alcohol)/chitosan nanofiber non-woven mat. The structure and morphology of the electrospun mats were investigated by a JEOL scanning electron microscope after a gold coating. The mats were irradiated in air at room temperature by using γ-ray to doses in the range of 50–200 kGy. Various properties of the films were studied using ATR-FTIR, differential scanning calorimetry, scanning electron microscope, and a universal mechanical tester.
