제목 Preparation Li1.33Mn1.67O4 micro bead with divinyl benzene – styrene microsphere containing lithium and Li+ adsorption properties
초록 Lithium in seawater can be sequestered by various materials and process because lithium is one of rare metal resources. The divinyl benzene-styrene containing Li1.33Mn1.67O4 microsphere beads (DSL) were prepared by suspension polymerization using divinyl benzene (DVB) and styrene monomer (Sty) as monomers with lithium manganese oxide (Li1.33Mn1.67O4) and their adsorption properties of lithium in seawater and lithium enrichment water were investigated. The surface area of DSL increased as increased in carbonizing temperature because of the thermal decomposition of organic material during the calcinations process. It was confirmed that the diameter of DSL ranged from 100 to 300 ㎛ by SEM and the structure of DSL was spinel by XRD. Lithium adsorption property was analyzed by ICP from seawater and lithium enrichment water. Lithium adsorption efficiency of 88% and 83% could be obtained by dipping seawater and lithium enrichment water.
