Poly(vinyl alcohol)(PVA) is a typical water-soluble polymer. Because insolubility is required for the application of PVA as films, it is necessary to enhance the insolubility of PVA in water. In this study, crosslinking agent used to glyoxal, maleic anhydrate(MA), glutaraldehyde(GA) and poly acrylic acid(PAA). PVA film were investigated by differential scanning calorimetry(DSC), thermal gravity analysis(TGA) and infrared reflection-absorption spectroscopy(FTIR). The mechanical characteristic of crosslinked PVA film were measure by universal test machine(UTM). |
