Poly (butylene terephthalate) (PBT) and polyamide-6,12 (Nylon 6,12) were extruded with a twin screw single extruder. The blend filaments were compression-molded at the temperature between the melting point of PBT and Nylon 6,12. The properties, morphology, mechanical properties and crystallization of PBT/Nylon 6,12 blend filament were measured by TGA and UTM. The crystallization of blend filaments were increased with increasing Nylon 6,12 content in the filament. However, the glass transition temperature(T) was not change by blend ration. The morphology of blend filament were observed by electron microscope(SEM). |
