The research on conductive polymers has been one of the issue of materials science and engineering because of their electronic and physical properties. Polyaniline (PANI) is one of the important conductive polymer due to its advantage such as ease of fabrication, unique redox properties, relatively high electrical conductivity, high heat resistance and transparency. In this work, we have fabricated PANI nanostructure with shape from sphere to line by chemical oxidative polymerization on chemical modified gold (Au) by 4-aminothiophenol (4-ATP). Polystyrene-block-poly(2-vinylpyridine) (PS-b-P2VP) and Polystyrene-block-poly(4-vinylpyridine) (PS-b-P4VP) were used to make highly-ordered Au nanopattern via their self-assembling process. PANI can be fabricated along the 4-ATP that is created on the Au surface and provides a guiding effect for the aligned growth of the PANI due to reactive of the amino group on it. Finally, it was observed that aligned PANI nanostructure arrays. |
