A series of the supramolecular complexes of conjugated rod-like segments of oligo(9,9-didodecylfluorene-2,7-diyl) (PF) with single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNT)s were prepared. Conjugated PF block segments with various end-functional units were used to investigate the effect of specific interaction with SWNTs on the dispersion of SWNTs in selective solvents. The fluorescence behavior of the PF segments, coupled with SWNT and the morphology of the complexes of PF/SWNT was also investigated. Based on our measurements, the π-π stacking binding interaction between PF and SWNT and the resulting dispersion characteristics of SWNTs was modulated by changing the end functional units of PF. |
