In-situ Cross-linked Gel Polymer Electrolyte for Lithium Polymer Batteries |

In recent year, the gel polymer electrolyte(GPE) received much attention for the lithium polymer batteries because of their enhanced safety and design flexibility. Chemicalcross-linking leads to the formation of irreversible gels. The chemically cross-linked GPE is stable even at high temperature. Cross-linkers which have acrylate or amine functional groupsare commonly used for preparing the chemically cross-linked GPE because of their fast cross-linking reaction. In this presentation, preparation of GEP using different new cross-linkers with acrylate or epoxy functional groups, and their application on the high power lithium-ion polymer batteries will be discussed. |
