Chalcogenide thin film solar cells such as Cu(In,Ga)Se2 and Cu2ZnSnSe4 solar cells have been studied for long time. Cu(In,Ga)Se2 solar cell achieved best PCE of 23.3 % and Cu2ZnSnSe4 solar cell showed that of 12.6 %. With the development of chalcogenide thin film solar cells, various characterization techniques were also developed. In this presentation, we introduce some characterization methods which are used in the characterization of chalcogenide solar cells. Especially, we will show usefulness of admittance spectroscopy, low temperature J-V measurement, GIXRD, and Raman spectroscopy, TRPL, and conductive AFM. We also discuss how these characterization method could be applied for the development of the perovskite solar cells. |
