제목 Study on structural and electrochemical property of annealed multi-walled carbon nanotubes
초록 We have studied the effect of annealed multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWNTs). MWNTs on the p-type Si substrate were synthesized by thermal chemical vapor deposition (CVD) using Fe catalysts. The growth temperature was 900 ℃ with C2H2 and NH3 gases. The rapid thermal annealing (RTA) treatment on the MWNTs was carried out at the growth temperature (900 ℃) for 1 minute with N2 gas ambient. The structural of MWNTs were investigated by field-emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM), transmission electron microscope (TEM), Raman spectroscopy. In the raman spectrum, it was found that the annealed MWNTs had decreased defect and amorphous carbon, and the I(D)/I(G) ratio of annealed MWNTs was considerably decreased. The electrochemical properties of the MWNTs were investigated by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) at the atmosphere. In this study, it was found that annealing treatment of MWNTs was effected on properties of it. And EIS measured that, the reaction time of the frequency of annealed MWNTs was faster than that of unannealed MWNTs and the total resistivity of the annealed electrode had much lower than that of unannealed MWNTs.
