제목 Epitaxial Growth-Induced Junction Welding for Silver Nanowire Network Electrodes
초록 We developed a roll-to-roll Ag electroplating process for metallic nanowires electrodes using a Galvanostatic mode. The metallic nanowire networks [silver nanowires (AgNWs) and copper nanowires (CuNWs)] coated onto a polyethylene terephthalate was immersed into the plating bath. The electroplating was systematically controlled by changing applied current density and plating time, which enabled control of sheet resistance and optical transmittance. The transmission electron microscopy study confirmed that Ag was epitaxially grown onto the AgNW, but the polycrystalline Ag structure was constructed on the CuNW. The Ag-electroplated metallic nanowires electrodes were applied to various electronic devices such as organic light emitting diodes, triboelectric nanogenerator, and a resistive touch panel. The roll-to-roll Ag electroplating process provides a simple, low-cost, and large-scale fabrication method for transparent conductive electrode materials for next-generation electronic devices.
