제목 Fabrication of PAH/PSS Multilayer Film with Improved Chemical Stability through Layer-by-Layer Self Assembly and Crosslinking
초록 Layer by Layer self-assembly (LbL) method is a very useful way to make a polymeric thin film by using electrostatic attraction. We fabricated multilayer films composed of poly(allylamine hydrochloride) (PAH) and sulfonated poly (sodium styrene sulfonate) (PSS) on the surface of quartz glass as a substrate via layer by layer technique. In order for covalent crosslinking of PAH/PSS film, diazido-stilbenedisulfonic acid disodium salt (DAS) was infiltrated into the multilayer films and DAS was photochemically activated by UV irradiation. For both uncrosslinked and crosslinked films, erosion experiment against NaCl solution or alkali solution and the changes in UV absorptivity was monitored by Ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy.
