제목 Performance of Direct Methanol Fuel Cells Using KOH Activated Carbon Materials from Rice Husk as Electrodes
초록 In this work, Activated carbon was synthesized from Rice Husks (RH) using the chemical activation method with KOH as the chemical activating reagent. The Pt-Ru metals were deposited onto activated RHs (A-RHs) by chemical reduction method. The characteristics of Pt-Ru RH catalysts were determined by specific surface area and pore size analyzer, X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The textural properties of A-RH were investigated by N2/77 K adsorption isotherms using Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) equation and Barret-Joyner-Halenda (BJH) method. The electrochemical properties of Pt-Ru/RHs catalysts were also analyzed by cyclic voltammetry (CV).
