Application of solid polymer electrolytes (SPE) in lithium-ion batteries can address many weakness associated with liquid electrolyte lithium-ion batteries. Due to their physical structure, SPEs exhibit lower ion conductivity than to liquid electrolyte. In this study, we synthesized improved ion conductivity in SPEs doped with ionic liquid. Samples containing ionic liquid at different weight percentages (wt %) were characterized for their electrochemical and ionic properties. The ionic conductivity value(σ) was calculated from the bulk resistance(Rb), which was determined by equivalent circuit analysis software. The morphology of the film was evaluated by using scanning electron microscope(SEM), and crystallinity was analyzed by differential scanning calorimetry(DSC) |
