Study on hydrophilicity and water absorption of α,β-chitosan hybridized acrylic resin films prepared by emulsion polymerizations |
| 초록 |
This study was to evaluate hydrophilicity and water absorption of α-chitosan and β-chitosan hybridized acrylic resin prepared by emulsion polymerization. α-chitosan and β-chitosan with different degree of deacetylation and average molecular weights were used. Their Films were prepared by spreading the emulsions onto Teflon plates, and then drying completely at room temperature for 2 weeks. A droplet of water spreaded out on the acrylic resin films and then the contact angle was measured. Also, In the hybid chitosan acrylic resin films with different chitosan, the water absorption was evaluated by swelling method. |
