제목 Synthesis and Characterization of Water-Soluble Poly(para-phenylene)s for Long-Wavelength Fluorescence
초록 During the past two decades conjugated polymers have attracted much attention because of their potential applications such as organic light emitting diodes, organic field effect transistor, organic photovoltaic cell, and chemical sensors. Recently, most people were more concerned about healthcare than any other days. The detection of biological analytes can be achieved in high sensitivity using organic conjugated polymers based biosensory materials due to their large signal amplification even more trace amount of analytes. However, the conjugated polymers are not easy to dissolve in aqueous media because they are a hydrophobic in nature with rigid main chain. In this study, we will describe the synthesis and characterization of a series of conjugated poly(para-phenylene)s with water-soluble group.
