제목 | Oxygendoped activated carbon prepared by oxygen plasma foradsorption cesium ions |
초록 | Oxygen plasma treatment was performed to improve cesium ion adsorptioncapacity by introducing an oxygen functional group on the surface of activatedcarbon, and cesium ion adsorption performance of activated carbon according toa reaction time with oxygen gas injected during the oxygen plasma treatment wasevaluated. In this experimental condition, when a reaction time with oxygen gasis 10 minutes, it is determined that as the C-O-C and O=C-O bond contentincreases, the electrostatic interaction between cesium ions and oxygenfunctional groups increases, thereby facilitating adsorption. In addition,there was little change in the specific surface area and pore characteristicsof activated carbon even after oxygen plasma treatment. Oxygen plasma-treated activatedcarbon has an improved cesium ion removal rate of up to 97.3% compared tountreated activated carbon. C-O-C and O=C-O bonds greatly affect the cesium ionadsorption performance. |
