Synthesis of Flexible Polyol and Polyurethane for Epoxy Reinforcing Effect |
초록 |
Epoxy resins have various advantages and are widely applied as representative thermosetting material. Unfortunately, they have drawbacks such as low fracture toughness, impact strength and resistance to crack initiation due to hard and rigid composition when cured. To improve this issue, polyurethane is used as a toughening material with epoxy resin. In this study, polyol and polyurethane were synthesized and designed via softness material caprolactone and bisphenol-Z with excellent mechanical property. The mechanical and thermal properties of the cured epoxy compositions with polyurethane were compared and analyzed. As a result, the addition of synthesized flexible polyurethane with epoxy resin improved the tensile, flexure and impact strength. |
