제목 Synthesis and Characterization of Polyelectrolyte Block Copolymer-based Organic-inorganic Hybrid Nanocomposites with Thermo-responsiveness
초록 Thermo-responsive polyelectrolyte block copolymer brushes on two dimensional substrates have been of great interest for a variety of biomedical applications. In this study, we report stimuli-responsive polyelectrolyte block copolymer-based organic-inorganic hybrid nanocomposites with metallic nanoparticles (MNPs) and thermo-responsive polyelectrolyte block copolymer brushes on the nanoscale graphene oxides (NGOs) complexed via electrostatic interaction. The block copolymer brushes on the NGOs were prepared by either ‘grafting to’ or ‘grafting from’ method via reversible addition-fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT) polymerization, and charged MNPs were bound to the oppositely charged block copolymer brushes via charge-charge interactions. These polyelectrolyte block copolymer-based organic-inorganic hybrid nanocomposites showed temperature-sensitivity as well as colloidal stability, which would have great potential in biomedical nanotechnology applications.
