Aluminates and aluminosilicates have various morphologies such as nanotube, nanosphere and nanosheet. These inorganic materials have already been discussed in the field of material science and they are known to be used in applications such as membranes, catalysts, or absorbents. In this paper, we synthesized four kinds of inorganic mineral materials (gibbsite, boehmite, imogolite and allophane) adopting single fundamental method only differing the reaction conditions such as temperature or concentration. The gibbsite and boehmite were synthesized by different reaction temperatures. On the other hand, the imogolite and allopane were prepared by differing the reagent concentration. These minerals were characterized by transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X-ray diffraction technique (XRD), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) and nuclear magnetic resornance measerement (NMR). |
