Visualization and Investigation of Charge Transport in Mixed Halide Perovskite using Lateral-structure Photovoltaic Devices |

CH3NH3PbI3-xClx (mixed halide perovskite) has been widely known as having the enhanced electrical properties like long diffusion lengths and charge carrier recombination life-time compared to CH3NH3PbI3 (triiodide perovskite). However, whether mixed halide perovskite has surely improved performance is a debate because many researchers still use triiodide perovskite as an efficient photovoltaic device. This paper can show the excellence of mixed halide perovskite using lateral-structure solar cell. Furthermore, the degree of improved electrical properties is visualized and the efficient charge carrier pathway of mixed halide perovskite was verified by the current level difference in the top view. Lateral perovskite solar cell described here offers a unique lateral-structure photovoltaic device by different electrodes and the short gap distance as well as a tool to show the electrical properties and performance and of top view analysis. |
