제목 Freestanding graphene oxide monolayer supported on porous substrate and their application
초록 Graphene oxide have been studied as membranes due to the ultrafast molecular permeation by atomic thickness and high mechanical strength. Pristine graphene or graphene oxide is impermeable to liquids and gases, therefore the possibilities to create water pathways through the material are either the stackin of graphene oxide sheet ot the generation of nano-defect in monolayer graphene. In this study, we present a facile and pragmatic approach to make asymmetrically modified graphene oxide monolayer via grafting polymers with different polarities. We adopt the Langmuir method to create freestanding monolayers of graphene in subphases between air and water. Freestanding graphene oxide monolayer on porous substrate was confirmed by atomic force microscopy and scanning electron microscopy with energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy.
