제목 Synthesis, Physicochemical Properties and Biocompatibility of Self-Assemble Polymers
초록 Well-defined brush polymers were synthesized bearing guanine, cytosine, uracil, or thymine moieties. The polymers were stable up to 220℃ and had processibility of solution-made and It can make high quality product. Interestingly, the brush polymers with self -assembled to form molecular multilayer structures stabilized by hydrogen bonding interactions among the guanine, cytosine, uracil, or thymine moieties, which indicated nucleobase-rich surfaces. The multilayer polymer products indicated high water sense of closeness. They also showed selective protein adsorption, suppressed bacterial adherence, facilitated cell adhesion, and exhibited good biocompatibility. The brush polymers, which DNA-mimicking comb polymers, are suitable as biomaterials and in protein separation applications.
