제목 Thrombin Activatable Peptide Conjugated Gold Nanoparticles for CT/NIRF Dual Imaging
초록 Gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) are a unique material due to their controllable morphology, low cytotoxicity, surface plasma resonance effect and high X-ray absorption. For these reasons, AuNPs have studied and developed as an imaging probe. In this study, we developed thrombin activatable CT/NIRF imaging probe which can detect thrombosis in the blood stream. AuNPs were coated with silica layer to have stability and biocompatibility in human body. Then thrombin activatable peptide conjugated dye (Thr-dye) was conjugated to the nanoparticle surface. When the probe interacts with thrombin, the enzyme cleaves the peptide and dequenches NIRF dyes which can detect thrombosis. Therefore, AuNP part of the probe is used as CT imaging probe and the Thr-dye dequenching system is used as NIRF imaging probe. These feasibilities of biocompatible AuNPs as CT/NIRF dual imaging probe were showed by promising results for detecting thrombosis.
