Facile Preparation of Porous Mn-modified iron oxide as a Heterogeneous Photo-Fenton-like Catalyst for Efficient Detoxification of Bisphenol A |
초록 |
We synthesised porous Mn-doped Fe2O3via atwo-step process, resulting in an abundance of pores and cracks on itssurface. The as-prepared composite was utilized as a catalyst for persulfate(PS) activation to mineralise Bisphenol A (BPA). The materials attained withMn/Fe molar ratio of 1:2 (designated as MnFe-12) exhibited the best removalefficiency (99.8 ± 3.2 %) and highest mineralisation (94.7±0.2 %) towards 50ppm BPA under UV light illumination. In addition, the quenching testsdemonstrated that both ●OH and SO4●-radicals were the main reactive species involved in the BPAdetoxification in our photo-Fenton system while –OH groups oncatalyst surface facilitated the interaction with S2O82-for enhanced catalytic performance. Moreover, Mn-Fe2O3 catalystscould be reused at least 4 times. |
