Recently, continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) has been widely investigated for diabetic diagnosis. Until now, blood glucose level is diagnosed by blood sampling several times a day with a personal glucose meter. Here, we developed noninvasive, flexible, and amperometric glucose patch sensors using hyaluronate - gold nanoparticle / glucose oxidase (HA-AuNP/GOx) complex. After characterization of HA-AuNP/GOx complex by DLS analysis, Zeta potential measurement, UV-Vis absorption spectrum and TEM imaging, in vitro real-time measurement was conducted by using a potentiostat. The glucose sensor could detect the changes of electrical currents under a constant potential of 0.7 V vs Ag/AgCl for steady-state amperometric current responses. Taken together, we could confirm the feasibility of glucose patch sensor using HA-AuNP/GOx complex for real-time glucose level monitoring. |
