Harmful Algal Bloom(HAB) occurred by sudden increasing of algae makes many environmental problems all over the world. Once HAB happens, consume of almost dissolved oxygen, secretion of poisonous material and sometimes directly sticking of algae to the gills occur, so underwater lifes died.These are serious damages to aqua industry such as ocean cultivating, water supply system.The only solution could be used in actuality is sprinkling loess over the HAB occuring region. Purpose of this research is finding method to increase efficiency of HAB removal.In this research, coagulation experiment by loess(or other materials) and some algae(Microcystis aeruginosa, Heterosigma akashiwo) performed, and zeta potential, hydrophobicity of each samples measured. |
