제목 | Synthesis of Py-PTFEMA for Stable Graphene Dispersion |
초록 | Graphene, which has extraordinary electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity, and mechanical properties, is expected to be used for many applications, such as flexible display, etc. However, the biggest problem that prevents application of graphene is agglomeration of graphene sheets. In this work, 2,2,2,-trifluoroethyl methacrylate (TFEMA) and 1-pyrenemethanol (Py) were used as functionality which have affinity with solvent and graphene, respectively. We prepared Py-PTFEMA polymer for stable graphene dispersion via DCC coupling for esterification with N,N’-dicyclohexylcarboiimide and reversible addition-fragmentation chain transfer polymerization. Characteristics of the synthesized polymer and corresponding graphene dispersions will be discussed.
